PRACTICES

Practices are usually 90-120 minutes each.

Practices are held at the Spring Run Elementary School bus loop and/or gym.

ATTENDANCE

Our program requires all of it's athletes to be present in order to have effective practices and performances.

Therefore, attendance is MANDATORY. Please consider talking with the Cheer Director to address any concerns you may have.

CHEER CAMP

Every summer mid-August, CCL hosts a cheer camp with FAME Cheer for all local cheer programs. It is a great opportunity for the cheerleaders to learn new skills and bond with their team and coaches.

TUMBLING/
STUNTING

Each season, our cheerleaders have tumbling and stunting time during the season and additional clinics. They work with a specialty coach to practice safety, conditioning, and challenge their skills.

FUNDRAISING

Due to the higher cost of cheer registrations. Our cheer program will run different fundraisers throughout each season. We do offer sponsorships and would love to team up with you!

CONDITIONING/
TRAINING

We will focus on preparing and conditioning cheerleaders with stretching, tumbling drills, strength exercises, and teaching safety throughout the season.

PRACTICES

Practices start March and run through mid-May. Practices will be 2 days a week.

GAMES

Cheerleaders will cheer for our Spring Flag Football teams. These games are NOT required, but a great practice for young or new cheerleaders.

Coaches

All coaches are selected by the Cheer Director. All coaches must complete a volunteer background check through Chesterfield County and display their coaches' card during ALL league games. Coaches are also required to complete concussion training provided by the CDC's Heads Up Concussion Training.

Junior Coaches

We offer a junior coach initiative where middle and high school cheerleaders can come assist in teaching cheers, stunting, jumps, and overall cheerleading skills. They will work along side Head & Assistant Coaches throughout the season.

Volunteers

With the Fall Cheer Season full of multiple events and requiring a lot of commitment, we are always looking for amazing volunteers, team moms, or donations of different supplies. If you are interested in stepping up to volunteer, please click the link below.
